MEALS vs. GRAZING
Question- What do most of you veterans find yourselves doing most of the time? Sitting to eat however many times a day but just less food or just having bites of this and that during the day? I'm 4 years out and find that I'm just more comfortable if I just eat my food in little bits during the day. I portion ALL of my food and know exactly what I am eating but find that I just can't get it all in and miss full meals when I try to eat the actual meals. Not only that but it would take me 2-3 hours to get a regular meal (4 oz. grilled chicken and 1 cup of spinach) in anyway.
The problem with this is then getting in my liquids... because I'm working so hard at the gym I get in about a gallon of water a day...BUT because I'm eating something every hour or so there isn't much time left for beverages.
I'm interested to know what you all do.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT!
I'm a grazer and always have been. I'm worse now since my stomach will clamp down and not let me eat dense protein at a meal many times. I should do what you do about measuring out portions though. I've gotten away from that and it's not a good thing to do.

I am. A grazer too and I don't have any trouble getting food and liquids in. I don't follow the don't. Drink 30 kin before of after rule causes that is for rnyers who no longer have their pyloric valve. I can eat and drink at the same time but usually don't. I eT every two hours or so and still get in 64+ ounces of liquid.
I'm a grazer. If i do a meal with family, the portion consumption is so small, then less than an hour later I'm hungry again.
I love taking my time (read- 2 - 3 hrs) to eat a meal. It goes down much better, and digests easier for me.
