Excessive pooping

I second the flagyl suggestion, but please have the ability to get Canesten at the first itch.  I've had antibiotics plenty of times before, but flagyl gave me my first bout of thrush and I'm struggling to get rid of it.  I took it while in Turkey and waited to treat the thrush until I got home and I think that really didn't help me.

I'm not sure this helps. I like the flagyl idea but I wonder about adding a fiber supplement to your
diet. Maybe if it bulked up and firmed up the DH would lessen.

It's just been on my mind for myself lately.

I also wondered about vits. Maybe cut back on magnesium - if your taking any.

I've been on the elimination diet for 6 days now and things have slowly been improving. I hope this isn't too much information but I've had one normal poo yesterday and one today and I'm down to 4 x a day. The past two days my body has woken me up at 5 a.m. which is better. The nutritionist wants me to stay on the diet till next Saturday and then start adding one new food every three days. Thanks for all your words of wisdom. Hopefully I will continue to turn the corner.

I hope so too. If things normalize then hopefully the weight loss will stop too.

And no way is this too much information. DS'rs know when you aren't pooing right everything
else becomes less important.
