7 weeks out, can't lose weight. Dr did BPD instead of BPD/DS. Help
Start with insurance rules and move forward from there. See if they will pay for one of the vetted revision docs, then you will be on your way. Some people self pay if insurance denies. It really varies. I know I was fortunate to have insurance pay for 3 WL surgeries.

Revision #2 Dr John Rabkin June 21, 2013; First Revision DS - Dr Maguire 5-18-09; First DS 7-15-2003 Dr Clark Warden = Third time is the charm
I think you need some legal advice........ Seriously. You told the doc what you wanted and came out with something totally different than what he said he was doing and how it was coded for insurance. I am so sorry for you and I also wish you had come here first. We would have told you right away this individual is not a DS revision surgeon.
They are night and day different. With a true revision, the surgeon will take down the pouch and reconnect to the remnant stomach. He/she will then make the sleeve stomach. He/she then needs to reconfigure the intestines. 100 cm common channel is average for the most part. With my revision I ended up with a 3.3 oz stomach and an 85 cm common channel.
