And the flagyl induced thrush is gone!! ;-)
Canesten pessaries and cream didn't work. I got a 5 day course of Trimethoprim 200mg antibiotics and within a few hours the itching went!! It sounds crazy that I had to have antibiotics to fix antibiotic issues.

Years ago I experienced thrush with Flagyl, and the only thing that made it better was Nystatin. It's a liquid that you swish and swallow.
Cut to 3 weeks ago when one of my drain sites became infected and I was put on Cipro AND Flagyl for 20 days ... I forgot that it affected me and I was miserable!
