I know you have been around a while so I was wondering about protein drinks. Of the Isopure flavors, some are zero sugar and low or zero carb. I am 4 weeks before surgery and want to purchase some to get me started in different flavors but not sure which ones to buy.

Isopure in powder, as you've got there, with 0 carbs and most likely whey protein isolate is the way to go. Syntrax Nectar is also whey protein isolate. Look for whey protein isolate as the first ingredient and no carbs.  I use vanilla with a dash of cinnamon in my protein coffees, my husband uses cappuccino in his, and I use either strawberry mousse or chocolate in my lunchtime shakes. Some folks like the fruity flavors and mix them with Crystal Light. Vitalady carries samples of those powders she carries, you might order a few from her and test them. Be prepared that immediately post-op your taste buds go crazy and you might not like what you initially tried. Chocolate was the only flavor that didn't let me down early on. I mixed my shakes with Lactaid milk early out to keep from having issues with lactose.

Okay thank you so much! I will get with vitalady I noticed the directions say mix with water, is that gross? Is Lactaid better?

I never could drink the creamy ones with jus****er. I much prefer the taste of a shake mixed with milk or 1/2 & 1/2 or heavy whipping cream and a little water.

Sounds good!  I think I need to visit the farmer's market and see what's available.
