HAS ANYONE STRUGGLED WITH LOW POTASSIUM

I have been to the ER four times and admitted twice for low potassium has anyone else struggled with this???

There are plenty of folks on prescription potassium, even pre-op. You should talk to your PCP about it if you've been in to the ER even once.

Pre-op I was on prescription potassium. Post-op I have been taking the much lower over the counter dosages
with no problem.

Hi Pete,

i had that problem also my doctor put me on Potassium CL ER 20MEQ Micro tabs 3 A Day. Over the counter doesn't even faze me. Stay on top of this it can be very dangerous.

Ask you doctor about Rx (prescription)  Klor-Con EF.  It's a tablet that, when dropped into 4 oz. of water, makes a fizzy, orange flavored drink. 

Great way to get that potassium in!
