Hi guys, 

BITES: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2 and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]
2nd B - egg and bacon 
S - protein coffee (30g) and a cup of Greek yogur****bl of little blueberries and Splenda
S - 1/2 cup peanuts
L - protein shake [6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 2 oz oz of water and a heaping scoop of protein powder]
S - 1/2 cup peanuts
D - 4 oz meat loaf
S - 3/4 cup CarbSmart ice cream

VITES:
morning batch: done
4 calcium batches: done
iron: done
evening batch: started, almost done 
heme iron: pending

EXERCITES:
watching grandbabies and worked on office stuff again

Well as I prepare to start the new week, I do have a bit of a plan in place. So I start it today, I like starting on Sundays it helps start me off on the right foot for the week.

Bites;

Kellogg Special K protein cereal with a bit of almond milk

Chili with beans about 1 1/2 cups and I had cheese on it

A and W hamburger with onion rings and a reg root beer

Snacks through the day were

jellybean - all gone

1/4 mixed nuts - all gone

reg Dr Pepper Slurpee

med apple

cheese string

Aquafina Plus Vitamin water

Sherbet Ice cream one small revel looking thing 100 calories

Vites: all in

Exercites: 1/2 hour cardio

Feelings: was not well yesterday, two nosebleeds, headache all day and fevered. This morning I feel pretty good. The sun is shining and I am having my morning coffee.

Going to try low carbing this week to, I have some pounds that found me, I have had way to many carbs and sugary stuff this last week.

I am going to be accountable this week Gina, so  you have your work cut out for you

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

Yes we can!!

Regarding the carbs for our patients: I guess all the professional organization (nutrition, diabetes, ob/GYN) feel that a minimum 175 gm is necessary for brain function,

Gearing up for the white knuckle week

B: bacon, protein shake

L: turkey and Swiss on 1 piece WW bread
S: nap
D: chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes

V: done
F: ok
E: laundry, etc

Brain function? lol  Like our bodies can't convert whatever it gets to glucose?  That brain function assumption is what, 100 years or more old? {still smdh}

Gearing up too. I'm going to start by reducing the amount of 1/2&1/2 I use in my protein coffees and shakes, and stop adding Truvia to my protein coffees.

Why no Truvia?  The carbs in that can't be bad.  And heavy cream instead of 1/2&1/2 ought to be OK, no?

I'm just changing things up a bit without running up the grocery bill. I've been using a lot of sweeteners and thought it might be causing the stalemate.
