Regain after sleeve. considering DS. Anyone had this?

I can't speak from personal experience, but definitely we are seeing more people seeking revision after sleeve all the time. Often, as you said, for a sleeve that just never was successful, but I don't see any reason why regain after cir****tances beyond your control wouldn't be a reasonable option. The metabolic changes and malabsorption the DS would give you, maybe with a re-sleeve if needed, could make a huge difference in your life. And, if you need NSAIDs for your bum knee, you would still be able to take them, unlike with gastric bypass, where they are contraindicated for the rest of your life.

Contact some DS surgeons are see what they say. You can find a list of DS surgeons at dsfacts, and of course you can look for feedback here as well.

I PM'd you.  I say go for it with a vetted surgeon, but try and get a re-sleeve at the same time for your best shot at success.
