I just posted about H. Pylori and the post isn't even there... hmmm...
Anyway, I was saying my doctor thinks this constantly upper severe bloating is H. Pylori and did a breathalyzer. Hopefully I get the results today/tomorrow.
I was asking you guys if it's common in DS patients?

I've seen it crop up in a few pre-ops but I can't recall any post-ops. They test for it pre-op and treat it with antibiotics before surgery.

Yikes! Sorry you've been through so much. :/ This all started with a sinus infection in January. I've been on 3 rounds of antibiotics since then. Long story, but this sucks. I started new bipolar meds March 5 and I'm pretty sure that's what triggered this stomach issue. :/ I quit the meds one week ago and I'm still bloated beyond belief, nauseous, full feeling, when I eat my stomach balloons up. Blahhhhhh....
Still waiting for my test results.... *impatient*

My test was negative. I am so confused... :/
And yes, I already know I'm lactose/gluten/wheat intolerant. I haven't changed my diet so idk what could be going on with all this constantly bloating. UUhhgggg... :/

Could also be bacterial overgrowth. I would think a round of Flagyl and then a good probiotic would make a difference for you.

Hmmmmmm... how is Flagyl different from other antibiotics? I was on amoxicillin (pills) and they didn't work. I went back to Urhent Care and a new doctor said it's because I had weightloss surgery and I need a liquid amoxicillin with some other medicine combined with it. I took a round of that and felt almost 100%. Slowly but surly the infection started coming back... smh I took another round of the liquid antibiotic and now it seems to
Not he coming back. Just this damn bloating! Something's wrong with my whole stomach.. I feel like my abdomen wall is falling off.
... very hard to rxplain what I mean...
Maybe I just need probiotics now? Idk...
