Good day everyone,

Bites:

strawberry protein shake

sunflower seeds 1/2 cup

ham (canned) 1/2 tomato, cucumber 1/3 and 2 carrots and 2 slice of brick cheese - very full

breezer protein drink

1/2 bagel and tea - Tim Hortons

2 pieces of farmer sausage, ceaser salad and 1/2 cup of rice

2 shortbread cookies

Vites: all in

Exercites: 1/2 hr of very easy dvd, didn't feel like a workout at all

Feelings: yesterday was a rough day, I didn't go to the group training in the evening I was exhausted, so today I weighed in and I'm up a couple pounds, and I am backed up again - day 3 - I have tried pills, fiber foods - nothing is helping at this point. I am off to work and will check in again later.

So today I tried prescription calcium citrate for the first time.  It's effervescent and I don't usually have fizzy drinks (even pre-WLS), so I think I could stand 2 or 3 of those instead of the tablets.  I'll still do 6 or 7 batches and the prescription stuff won't cost me any thing. I've also ordered boron as that was included in my Bone Booster Complex, but is starting to get really expensive, plus I think the peripherals like K2, D, strontium and mag citrate are more important (your advice helped me get down my PTH in 3 months).

Anyway, today was the first day of my eating more fruit and veg.  I'm trying this plan for 5 weeks (permanently if I do well).  It's meant to be a low fat plan, but I give myself a free pass on fat due to the DS... we'll see how this works - I'm kinda nervous combining a conventional diet with high fat due to our fat malabsorption.

One of those carby days, huh?  Well, winter when it's supposed to be spring can do that. I'm with you on that one.
