Hello Everyone,

I had the DS on June 24th, 2013. My starting weight was 350lbs and as of today, i'm down to 199lbs. Should I be worried at the weight loss? I'm almost at the 9 month mark, and I hate to say this out loud ... but I kinda wi**** would stop.

I've read various other stories from folks, but how much do you think i will still lose? A little concerned at where I'm at ....

I'm 6'2 and 35 years old.

You have done great! I have always heard you body will know when to stop... But if you are worried maybe just add a little extra carbs in daily... Congrats

It does depend on how worried you are. Many people just ride it even lower than your supposed ideal weight because many times there is a 15 - 20 lb bounce back when you stop.

The two things you can do are to change your diet and see if that helps or you can talk to your Doc about enzymes that will help you absorb more (Creon comes to mind - I can't remember any others).

Is there something in your health / looks that has you especially concerned? I have a ways to go but after seeing the DS work I do wonder about stopping when it is time. Of course then I worry that it will stop to soon. I am never satisfied. Hang in there.

I read once about a guy that lost too much weight, I know I'm being slightly neurotic but I  don't want to have issues like that.

I think I also had it set in my mind that when I got to 200 I'd just turn it off :)

@dustycroy - how are you making out?
