Missing in action

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about a couple members who are MIA.

There was a Texas mom who had a couple small children who was going to have a DS with Barker but switched to someone else in his office.

There was a woman who was going to have a DS within AZ who left us in the last month or so.

Both posters received some contrary advice to their surgeon choices.

A couple years ago, there was a woman named Phoenix who had the DS. She may have been in a nursing home.

I'm sure there are many many others.

For those who are lurking and afraid to post because you made a choice that may have differed than the advice given here, please come back. While I can't promise you that no one will give you a "I told you so," I do believe that the majority of us will greet you with compassion.

Lol I was one that left because of negativity. Now the vast majority were supportive but not everyone is super altruistic on here. Weight loss hasn't fixed some people insecurity issues and it can make some feel like they need to attack others to show they are all knowing. I am just shy of 5 months out and I am -101 of 202 lb total needed loss. I take my vits and have never felt better. My surgeon says I am killing the bell curve and am on track to lose it all. So if the few negative Nancy's who prophesied doom and gloom for me want to re-evaluate their predictions then I am ok with that :) for the rest that have been /are supportive I do say thank you 😊
