DS surgeons in Mexico

Hello Everyone. 

I am trying to find a good surgeon in Mexico to  perform my DS-BPD surgery. Anyone have any good suggestions for surgeons? I have been coming across the name Dr Ungson a lot. I have done some research on him but it seems like recently his reviews aren't as great.

Dr Ungson is still the most recommended. Are the not-so-great reviews from revisions or virgin DSrs? Is there any way to tell which? Another option might be Dr Marchesini in Brazil. www.dsfacts.com should have his contact info.

Dr. Ungson is far and away the most experienced DS surgeon in Mexico. Dr. Aceves is also doing the DS now, having learned from Dr. Ungson. There is no one else in Mexico that I would recommend.

    Dr. Marchesini in Brazil is also very experienced and very highly regarded.

Dr. Aceves and his staff were truly wonderful and very professional. I couldn't say enough about my experience at Almater Hospital. In the beginning he wanted to give me a common channel length of 125, but I talked him down to a 100. Ive been very successful, and am still continuing to loose. My sister inlaw went to him a few months later and got the lap band installed, and was also very impressed by him and happy. That's saying a lot, she is a nurse practisioner that owns two of her own womans health clinics... I wish I could go there every time I need to go to a hospital.....

The channel length is one of my concerns. I will look in to this doctor. Thanks for the info. 

Hello again... These are the links "from UTUBE" that I sent my sister inlaw on Almater hospital and Dr. Aceves. I thought you might be interested. He doesn't use the "Crown Plaza" anymore as your "first night" stay, they have since changed to the hotel Lucerna. The patients in these video's are gastric sleeve patients, not DS patients, but its still very interesting to hear their experiences. I love UTUBE for stuff like this....research, research......lol
