Yet another protein shake question...

Not sure how to word this to make sense, but here goes...

Can I just keep a large cup filled with protein shakes at my desk and sip on it all day like I would water, or do I have to drink the whole thing within a certain time frame to get full benefits?  I would still sip water, too...

Any info is greatly appreciated!

If there's a way to keep it cold you could do that.  It might breakdown some but if you're doing a combo of protein shakes and dense protein you should be fine.

If you think you could stand it.  The powdered ones tend to break down, so it's going to require some shaking here and there if you sit on it for a while.  How about keeping some protein rich nibblers at your desk, like nuts or seeds?  You'd be amazed at how much protein they pack in.

I didn't think about it breaking down.  I've just been stirring it with a straw every once in awhile.

I'm just going through a "can't stand eating" phase and am trying to keep my protein up...
