revison from ds to medial rny
There are several folks I've heard of getting their sleeve redone. Their restriction came back very well. Have you consulted with Dr Marchesini?

TO make the stomach very small. I am going to ask if he can do it without removing the p valve
No, you can't get an RNY pouch without removing the pylorus. Simply not possible. You can, however, get re-Sleeved (by an adequately skilled surgeon) and get LOTS of restriction.

This is the stupidest advice a surgeon could give give you. Is this a Seattle surgeon? Oy vey, please consult with another about just lengthening that short common channel.
Revising that sleeve to a pouch is such a step backward, and you have to live with that mistake, not the limited skill surgeon suggesting it.
Okay, if you are in Seattle...go SOUTH to one of the two vetted revision DS surgeons in CA (Dr. Keshishian or Dr. Rabkin)OR head back to Dr. Marchesini.
Resleeving makes far more sense than revising to a DISTAL RNY.
