I was fighting the gas and diarrhea, and feeling miserable. So I broke down and asked my doctor for some Flagyl. Not only did he ask me to tell him what to prescribe, but how much... At least he doesn't charge blindly on like most PCPs.

Today I started taking it and it's amazing stuff. No gas, no stomach growling. Nice stuff. Feeling a little tired, but boy this stuff is great if the bacteria is out of control.

Well said. I'm starting to feel normal again.

In the last 2 weeks I messed my paints 3 times. Vile situation.

Flagyl is a good short term solution but don't forget the probiotics to help keep things from getting out of hand again.

I take Primal Defense Ultra. And I will be buying Floraster this week. I read that it's good stuff. I'll take both.

The part I need to focus on is clean eating. I eat a ton of carbs in my yogurt, from granola and cereals to dried fruits and canned fruits. The yogurt is just a conveyance mechanism for the goodies I put in it. Croissants and muffins on the weekends... Not every day, but enough to cause the bad bugs to get ahead.
