My 600lb. life

Who watches it and what do you think of the doctor? I also posted this on the RNY board. Is that the only one he does?

I watch it from time to time...  Not sure what I think if the Doctor.. But we have to remember it's TV and i'm sure big time editing is done..   I wish they would follow up with the patients though.

I watched a few episodes and each of the patients were non-compliant and wondering why they only lost 60lbs in a year.  Of course!  You're eating fish sticks, mac&cheese, and chicken wings!!  I wish they'd show a patient of his with dumping syndrome.  The three I watched were definitely among the 50% that DON'T get it.

I watch all of them and I cry every time.  I'm so sad for them getting the RNY.  I also see myself in each of them.  RNY is not as forgiving for the "addict" or person who can't or won't eat properly.  My DS is strong even when I am not. 

He did a sleeve on Penny. She lost no weight and even gained 5 pounds in five years. I don't think a sleeve was the best idea for someone with her addiction as bad as it is.
