Thanks for posting that.  I would have never thought to look at my protein sources as gas causing.

I always ate mushrooms with my steak.  Found out it was the mushrooms that caused all of the gas.

No matter, I couldn't possibly give it up!!!!  I'll try eliminating the salad first!

I eat meat as my main protein and eat it at every meal most days!!  I do pick fattier cuts and have never had a problem.  However, I ate steak at a steakhouse once that added a coating of seasonings and I had a lot of gas.  I now ask that my meat be cooked with no seasonings when I eat out.

I love steak and have no problems with it at all.  However, I have a love/hate relationship with hamburger.  Sometimes it just refuses to pass through and makes me miserable while at other times it causes no trouble.  It is weird.

Yesterday I had cooked chicken breast - tons of it - hanging around.  So I chopped it up and added some McCormick taco seasoning.  I had it on a little white corn tortilla, with a little lettuce.  It was wonderful.

But I spent the day in the bathroom.  Frustrating.  I could not put my finger on why it was happening until you mentioned the seasonings...  Thanks.

And I eat steak regularly.  Never gave me a problem or gas.  And I use McCormick's Montreal Steak seasonings.  Might have to look for something else to put on my steak after today....

I eat steak 2-3 times a week with no issues. The thing that caught my eye was the egg salad. I love it and make it about once a month, and I sometimes get gas/bloating/stomach cramps. But not every time. Crazy.
