Hello all,

Bites:

Strawberry protein shake

yogurt

patty melt and few fries

cashews

2 mini chocolate bars

protein bar

roast beef/salad/potato/broccoli

small bowl of pineapple with whipped cream

1 frozen sherbet treat

Vites: all in

Exercites: 45-50 min of interval training

Feelings: good went out for lunch with a friend, it was a good day

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

Yum, I see stir fry in my future - I have some ordered in my groceries for when I get back from holiday.  I'm so glad that we live in a time with such diverse cuisine... although that could be partly to blame for what got some of us into the whole WLS thing.  I digress, it is what it is and I'm grateful for the variety regardless.

i love that you put what you eat daily it gives me some ideas. but i have a questions how do you do so many proteins drinks?? do you ever get tired of them or they make you gag? how do you do  protein coffee?

I haven't gotten too tired of them yet but I've never been a foodie either. I do occassionally switch out the lunchtime shake for something else; love the protein coffees. 

Protein Coffee 

brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)

In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy! 

Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping. 

Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

I love, love my breakfast protein shake. I think it's all in finding what tastes good and works for you.

Sorry, for chiming in here uninvited.   I hate boring same old foods each day, and I have adored drinking 4 protein coffees a day for over 4 yrs.  so many ways you can dress them up, "starbuckify" each mug full.  

Just sayin'
