Mine was light until I started adding iron.

If you eat a high fat protein meal...It will be a light golden color bc of the fats. Mine is always that color and if it is my liver I guess I am doomed ...Formula: high fat = light color. If we dont eat enough fats we then die !.
Mine have also been light in color since right after surgery. And a totally different consistency too. It weirds me out a lot of the time, lol
