2 week post op pain

Today is my 2 week post op and I started yesterday with a stabbing pain on my left hand side that happens only when I go from sitting to standing. It feels sooo bad I cry and it's as if my insides are ripping and as soon as I start walking it goes away. Dr prescribed muscle relaxer but I'm not sure it's that. :( I do still have lots of gas too. Anyone else still in pain 2 weeks out?

I had a really bad pain at the top and to the left a few inches. It was a good one. It lasted a little over two months, I would worry about it sometimes... Then one day it slowly went away over a couple of weeks time... It was weird for sure. I was even worried they had left something in there...lol

Pain was leaving at around two weeks except whwn they pulled my J tube. I felt like I had a pulled muscle for a week or so. It hiot me bad when changin position like you describe.

I experienced the same pain. I was so convinced I had torn something that the Dr ordered a CAT scan. The scan showed nothing wrong. The only way I could get relief was to sit in my recliner and take my pain meds. After a couple of weeks...poof the pain disappeared. Just be patience and remember you need to rest and take care of yourself right now. Best wishes on your  journey!
