We really are starting to get your weather in the UK and it's going to hit in the next few days they think. I hope we don't get it anywhere near as bad as it's been in the US. I heard reports of throwing boiling water in the air and then it turning to snow, there's a 1 minute clip for for the uninitiated http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LFtYUUXJlE Apparently people are throwing it up in the air above themselves, the trick fails and they burn the themselves!! Wonders will never cease I don't think it's got that cold in the London area in my lifetime.

I live in the area that got hit hard, and temps got down to -17 :( Kids have been off school for a whole week because of the roads, and we are use to snow here! Thankfully things have warmed up above freezing, but it's going to be such a muddy mess once all this snow melts!

I hope you all will be safe and warm. I think it was great that they closed schools during the worst of it. I hate to think of the kids having to walk to school in that cold. Our middle school kids walk a mile from our neighborhood to school.

Hi everyone. I'm not sure what's going on with me today but I've been HUNGRY all day. Like stomach growling, ripping open the cupboards, eating a snack while my food is cooking kind of hungry lol.
-Light and Fit greek yogurt, granola/almonds
-5 frozen blueberries
-Cashews
-Stole several bites of my husband's lucky charms in milk (he wasn't too pleased)
-4 sausage links dipped in 2 tsp maple syrup
-2 Ritz crackers with cheese
-Adkins snack bar
-1 egg, sausage crumbles
- Rotisserie chicken thigh and leg, pickle spear
Have to work 3rd shift tonight....plan is more rotisserie chicken for 'lunch', and taking another yogurt for a snack if needed

We're getting spring weather this weekend and I've got spring fever. Saw bathing suits in target and walmart.
Eating again today. Thinking about getting a Fitbit
B: bacon, protein shake
L: salad with chicken, pecans, feta cheese, slivers of pineapple and strawberries
S: 2 cough drops
S: salami, cheese
D: shrimp and cheese wrapped in bacon, steamed spinach
S: plan protein shake if I get hungry

E: work, grocery shopping, 20 min on the bike
Guess the net weight loss for 11 days is 8#
I'm glad you were able to eat today. You need to eat.
We have rain this weekend but the temps are better. We had ice this morning. Dangerous getting across the parking lot after I slid in sideways from the street.

I went to work but had the rest of the team work from home. That is such a luxury and I'm glad we can do that.
