Very Loud Digestion

Yes, i know the feeling - it happened to me just a few weeks ago in church.  I was apologizing to the person next to me and was explaining that i didn't know why it was happening because I wasn't hungry at all.  She said (in a sweet little elderly ladies voice), "don't worry about it - it's just gas.  I've have that happen too."  I doubted it was gas, but I was still surprised that it was so loud.

Oh, well, at least i know now that i'm not alone in this.

Mine is really loud too, no matter if it's before or after I eat. You'd think by the sound of things I was starving all the time! It's annoying and embarrassing at times. Forget having to sit in a quiet room....I'm the life of the party half the time! 

You aren't alone.  I am right there with you.

My husband says it's like listening to those 'sound of the humpback whale' soundtracks.  Sometimes to be a goofball he will imitate Dory from Finding Nemo when she speaks whale.  

Mine is loud, too.  Also, since there's empty small intestine handling all the digestive juices, I find I can feel them going back and forth as they make their way down to the common channel.  I was never this aware before surgery.
