11 pounds to goal!!!!
Today was my bi-weekly "weigh day", and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I am now only 11 pounds to goal!
I have an appointment with my PCP tomorrow, and I'm sure I'm going to get *****ed out for losing more weight.
It's only because my top half had less to lose than my bottom half...but that's all going to change once I get my loose skin taken care of..
The date for the plastic surgery is December 27th. I'm maintaining my outward composure...but inside....
Woo-HOOOOOooooooo!!!!
The DS "Freight Train" just keeps rollin'!!!!!

I know about that...my problem is that if I lose any more, I will be skeletal up top (I can already see my rib cage under my skin!)
Last appointment, my PCP said "You're done losing, right?" I told her what my goal was, and she turned the question into a statement.
I have been working to build muscle underneath, as that makes plastics come out better, too. I will pick up some weight as my muscle builds..although since I also have Lupus and Fibromyalgia, I have to be careful not to overdo. Most of my exercise is done in a still warm-water exercise pool. The health & fitness facility my Rheumy sent me to is owned by one of the hospitals here. They have clinical/medical memberships which are pennies compared to what a regular membership costs there.
I have an appointment with my PCP tomorrow. I can just hear her now!

I probably should add that I hit goal for about a month a while back...got back about 12 pounds, but my weight stabilized there, so I didn't really get bent out of shape about that at all.
Actually, I got a little scared when I got on the scale and it said 168 back then. I'd gone a pretty good stretch without weighing, and clothing slouch was something I had been able to deal with using belts to keep my pants up.
I was looking at size medium sweats tonight at Wally World. They've already got the spring colors out. I've decided I'm going to wait until December 26th to stock up on new size "M"! I'm going to make time to get there before I leave for surgery. Also been looking at "new to me" Bill Blass denim on eBay! That's the one brand of jeans (the Easy Fit cut) that fits me perfectly! And...they even come in Petite, for my short little legs! Built just like my late Dad...Long torso, short legs, long arms...that's good for a boxer...he was a Golden Gloves champion...but not so much for me!
