210 pounds
Hi,
I'm 5'6" and weighed 239 the day of my surgery BMI 38.6, I now have a BMI of 22 I hope to lose a bit more but if I don't i'm happy and watch my weight daily. The DS is the best thing I've ever done for myself. Good luck with what ever you choose to do.

Since you're in the LA area, I would recommend you contact Dr. Ara Keshishian in Glendale. He is one of the best DS surgeons around, and also does lots of revisions, so he would be quite capable of dealing with any scar tissue from your prior sleeve.
To me, it sounds like a purely restrictive operation didn't work for you and that it's time to move to the DS, where you would add both metabolic benefits and malabsorption to your restriction. As to whether or not you need a resleeve, I have no idea. This is something you and Dr. K would sort out together.

Day of surgery I weighed 251. And never made it to goal. Probably because I killed whatever was left of my metabolism with the 2 year starvation diet I did before surgery. Honestly, the vast majority of us do not lose too much weight. And many of us are left in the overweight category. So don't worry about losing too much. Worry about getting to goal before you even consider the possibility of losing too much. Plus there is a normal bounceback of 10 to 20 pounds most of us can't avoid.
I was 205 the day before surgery. I'm 5'1". I lost 55lbs and stopped losing at 5.5mo out, then dropped another 10 at 9mo. Total 65lbs. I gain 12 after a breakup, lost 4 before my 2nd round of PS then dropped 8. So back at 140. I stay between 138-142. The DS is working as I maintain w/o exercise. I always get between 100-150g of protein daily. I'm in a size 9, sometimes 7/8 and medium to large tops. I look normal. The vitamins you take now will change a bit when you go to dry vitamins for A, D, E & K your fat soluble vits...Good luck. I had the DS for my insulin dependent diabetes, high cholesterol and high bp. All gone now. I do have to take a presc for potassium.
