I agree with Jashley. It is common even without the DS. The only difference is that we can give ourselves diarrhea or constipation pretty easily and knowingly by doing stupid stuff with our diet. 

The only reason I got it was from my own stupidity and eating outside my DS diet. I knew better and ate them carbs in overload anyway. I paid for it with diarrhea. So in all honesty it was my own fault. Not everyone who gets diarrhea will get an anal fissure either. I have been on this website for quite awhile and I have only seen a hand full complain of an anal fissure, out of the hundreds that post here.
