Question for You Two-Parters
I was approved for my revision from VSG to DS on my first
request. I have Aetna, and I called them and found out how to
get a clinical policy bouletin. I
basically got a copy of my policy
in regards to weight loss surgery
and made sure I met all the
criteria listed. I even wrote my
own letter of medical necessity
based on my policy's guidelines
and had my PCP sign it. I wasn't
leaving anything to chance.
