Fine line between diarrhea and "normal" BMs
After reading another post, I realized that there is a very fine line between what works well on your new tummy vs what makes you the king/queen of the throne for awhile.
Shrimp scampi - I cooked homemade scampi the other night and it was great. Some butter, herbs and shrimp. The liquid was minimal and what I did cook thickened up nicely, leaving less volume.
Welp, I was trying to take the easy way out and bought boxed shrimp scampi. It was amazingly flavored but there was a LOT of extra liquid. And...um.... I consumed all the shrimp AND liquid. Yep, I scooped up a spoonful of buttery liquid with each shrimp. The ratio of shrimp to buttery liquid was probably 1:1 at that point. Yikes! The homemade stuff (less butter) settled perfectly. I'm still paying for the boxed stuff tonight. I will still get the boxed stuff for flavor but avoid all the liquid.
So try some shrimp! Grab a bottle of marinade, enjoy a lil home cooking, and don't drink the leftover buttery broth.
