shopping
Hi All:) for the first time in at least 12 years I am down to a size 18 and they aren't tight. Went shopping and figured I would try on some jeans as the pants I have now are all strechy type pants or draw string and all are too loose I have to flip over the top so they don't hang down low. Well I took in 3 different sizes because it has been so long since I have bought button/zipper jeans that I had no idea what size I am first pair was a 22 and they were way to big then tried on a 20 and they were big I was thinking there is no way tried on the 18 and they fit and I could breath, got 2 pairs at Kohl's and then found the same ones at Costco's for $15 cheaper but might take back 2 of the pairs for a 16 just so I have them on hand. A few weeks ago I decided to fitted for a bra as I also had no idea what size I was there, I had been wearing sports bras for the past 5 or so years, found out I was a size and cup smaller then I had thought I was and picked out some really cute ones. Never thought I would see the day I would be picked out "cute" bras and looking forward to getting clothes.
Thanks for letting me ramble on but this really made my day.
Isn't it fun!!! I was on vacation last week and bought a couple of dresses at one of my favorite stores there. First, it was very difficult for me to wrap my head around the fact that I didn't have to shop for a 24 and could actually shop for smaller sizes. I still think of myself being 63lbs heavier. I decided to buy 2 dresses that were an 18 and just hang them in my closet until they fit because I knew that eventually I would get into them. When I got home I decided to try them on and they FIT! I was stunned- I can actually wear those dresses now. Also bought some capris that were a size 20 and they are a little too big. They will get me thru August then it will be time to pass them on. So much fun!
