Enery drinks with sucralose

Questions:

Are energy drinks ok?  The one I like is non-carbonated and has as much caffiene in one can as 2 cups of coffee (Google is my friend).

Is sucralose considered an "artificial sweetener" or is it ok?  I know we're supposed to avoid the artificial ones.

As always, any assistance is greatly appreciated!

It is splenda and if your body can handle it then you are fine. Try it and see. Just do it when you know you will be home. =)

I think I do ok with it.  Other than a nasty aftertaste...

I just don't like coffee.  I used to do a large diet something every morning (insomnia blows) and am looking for a caffiene replacement since carbonation is the devil and I'm supposed to avoid "artificial sweeteners".

Have gained 12 pounds in the last 2 weeks.  Trying to get a grip....NOT happy.

My friend (who practices yoga everyday and is now a vegan) swears that warm water with half of squeezed lemon juice in it serves as his morning coffee/caffeine substitute these days.  I am doubtful, but I haven't tried it either.  Just passing on an option for you to try.

I think it just depends if you can handle it.  I drink them often, have for years. And have been told I should think about cutting back. Caffeine.. I have never been able to give up. I'm always fighting with low energy to keep a fast pace, always so much to do.

I like the Monster Rehab tea & Lemon its non-carbinated and low cal/carb. Low not no, there are 6 carbs in a full can... but for a pick me up here and there I think they are ok.

I liked the Monster Rehab with Protean but I can't find them anymore.

I've been drinking Rockstar Recovery Energy/Hydration.  Non-carbonated and comes in lemonade, orangeade, and grape...Also 6 carbs/can.

Re: Protein Monster. The dollar tree by my house has them, which im assuming means they took them off the market.

oh, wow mine too. I thought it was just awesome they were a dollar. I think its the taste, its takes getting used to. But since we drink protein shakes that aren't always the greatest its bearable I think.
