Dying for a Cup

I have Click Mocha (regular and decaf) in my pantry now. Loved it pre-op! Haven't tried it since surgery because it's only 15g protein and has some carbs. I'm waiting to have it for about another month.

I try to have an iced protein coffee each day. Make a cup of coffee the night before and put it in the fridge or just make it over ice in the morning. Then I put it in a shaker with a few pieces of ice and mix in vanilla Isopure.

Good luck!

i cannot stand weak coffee and trying to find a dark roast decaf was next to impossible.  i use a kurieg coffee make rand purchase the dark magic k-cup in decaf.  it makes a decent strong cup of coffee.

4 of my daily coffees are made into protein coffees using the dark magic and champion pure whey stack.  going on 4 years and i can't believe i am not tired of  drinking the same thing.  yum yum,

Here's mine:

Protein Coffee
brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)

In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy!

Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping.

Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

It took more than two months for my taste buds to return to something near normal. Coffee didn't taste right for ages.Becasue of that I stayed away from it for a while. Now I am back to nearly a pot a day. First hot and then the rest iced. Love it.

I get beans and grind, since I have an old coffee/spice grinder.  1/2 espresso or french roast, 1/2 decaf hazelnut.

I can't stand weak looking/tasting coffee either!
