Magnesium Citrate

So I took that awful Magnesium Citrate last night at around 8p because my surgery is today (YAY!!). I had the cherry-flavored bottle and it didn't taste as bad as I expected.

But when does the pooping stop?? I started at around 8:45p last night and right now at 7a, I'm back on the toilet for yet another round!

I even dreamt about it! (My diarrhea was getting in the way of a trip during one dream, and causing me all sorts of problems at work during another dream. During my last magnesium citrate-fueled dream, just as I was about to squat for another round, two Top Chef Master chefs stopped me and told me it was time to judge their dishes. ROFL.)

So, the stuff really works. But when will it stop? My surgery is at 3p.

Thanks everyone. This is the only place I could ever ask these types of questions.

It should be about over but you never know. I remember being a little worried I wasn't done as I got to the hospital but it all turned out fine. Crazy dreams. lol

Neither was I. The reason given was that I wouldn't have anything to um...poop out after being on the liquid diet for 2 weeks.

Maybe it's the same for you?

By the time i have my surgery, I will have been on a liquid diet for 8 days so maybe i should do the same :)

I'm four hours away from my surgery. I'm about to leave for the hospital.

Nope I didnt have to take it either in fact I got to eat a last meal the night before, and I have to say it was really nice to be able to do that......fajiatas, and guacamole, tortillas....Something I will always remember as a foodie....lol
