Sore Calves
Bananas are too high in carbs. Cooked tomatoes might be fine, I just said fresh because they're in season. B12 might give tingling in the lower extremities. I was thinking if electrolytes were low B12 might be as well. Just brainstorming B12...

It's probably dehydration and insufficient potassium. Do you also get the cramps in your feet as well? They can be excruciating. I get them on and off in my calves and feet when I am dehydrated. It's probably difficult for you to get much water in, but try some chicken consume/broth. It seems to go down easier and has lots of needed potassium.
