INTRODUCING THE SQUATTY POTTY! (NO I am not selling but I am sold) I bought mine today.

With us DSers pooping can be rough at times. Some of us go more than others...some of us less...some of us have diarrhea and some constipation. Fissures can arise and make our lives hell. I ordered one of these today to make my body healthier. Well, my anus and rectum healthier anyway...This is very informational and you really should watch it. I think this will help me empty more fully in the mornings and at night. No more fissures I hope. =)

Do a search on Amazon.com and you can find several types and styles. I bought the Ecco for 34.95
You can also get more info on Youtube about the product and peoples oppinions that have used them.

From a marketing standpoint, great graphics in the video but the music is a bit dramatic.

I find that leaning forward (legs apart a little) works too. It basically brings your belly down to your legs, instead of your legs up to your belly. And if you need an extra push, put your feet up on your tiptoes. It's weird but if you're having trouble, do that a few times during your potty break and it will help things flow. I've been doing that for years and have coined it the "sh*t pump". Ha!

That is exactly what I do as well. I cannot wait to give the squatty potty a try...let gravity take over as well. I will let you know how well it works. LOL.

I have always been constipated even before the DS, so I have kept a small stool in the bathroom for a while now. It also doubles as somewhere to sit while I give my baby a bath. Keeps me off my knees and mostly dry!

Did you get yours?  I got the 9 inch one and I feel like my knees are up at my chin and couldn't use it.  I think I may change it for the 7 inch one instead.
