Updated since a few things changed.

Someone posted yesterday that they would like to see more newbies posting here so I'm going to try to keep up. Wish I had posted more over the last few weeks. Basically I've eaten similar foods since about 3 weeks post-op. Before that it was all mushy foods.

This is my plan for today. We'll see how well I stick to it.

BITES (DS weight loss mode at 6.5 week post-op)
B - 2 Iced protein coffees (30g each)
B - Six slices (ok, about 5.5 slices once Doodle got his share) center cut bacon (15g)
S - Cheese (6g)
L - Shrimp ****tail (18g)
D - Meatloaf (10g)
S - Chicken Enchilada (15g)
TOTAL (from Calorie Counter) = 124g protein, 20 carbs, 970 calories, 46g fat

VITES: Using a new app to remind me of my vites

EXERCITES: Cleaning, repotting plants

I'm trying to keep protein above 100 daily in an effort to keep my already thin hair. Also wanting to start a weight lifting routine for toning. Flying squirrels would be jealous of my arms!

Woot!  You're doing great!  Don't be disappointed if you still lose some hair. It's likely hormonal and anesthesia related. Once you get the new growth it will be healthier from the protein and vitamins.

I didn't die from yesterday during the night so it wasn't that bad just the bloating which was no fun (I'm referring to jellybeangate of course), so I've behaved better today, plus I did have 20g worth of chicken nuggets w mayo at lunch yesterday (they were just a snack pack and not really lunch so I forgot when posting), anyways I feel a little redeemed.

Today I've been playing with my microdermabrasion kit which I received this morning.  You have to start it using a very low level and build up so it's a bit early to give much feedback.  I'll see how I do over the next few weeks and report back ;-)

I'm glad you survived jellybeangate. I could have been catastrophic on a global scale. Good job today!

Was at a women's conference until late last night and then 9-5 today. It was really good but I'm exhausted. Just can't keep up my work schedule and do much of anything else. Oh, well....old age setting in.

B: bacon, protein shake
S: snacked on almonds and pecans throughout the day
L: taco salad
S: cookie
D: grilled chicken, couple baby carrots with ranch dressing

V: one batch left
F: actually did really good
E: lots of sitting and walking, 15 min pool time
