You had a good surgeon.  I remember when I corresponded with Dr. Gagner a few years ago about adding the DS to my sleeve, he said I could expect to drop around 8-10 more BMI points with it.  (As a second stage).  But, it sounds like you weren't that heavy to begin with, so it's probably not as great for you.

Have you tried the whole protein/fat only type plan for a week or so to see if that kick starts things?  If a week seems too long, can you try one day, two days, three? Just to see if it has any effect?

Also...as a reminder...even if you never lose a pound, you still have to keep up with your blood work, vitamins, etc.  I know that with my VSG, when I started to regain...I kind of delayed having my annual blood work.  I did finally get it done, but I was about 8 months late.  Not as serious with a VSG (although I still had D, PTH, and B12 issues)....but had it been a DS, could have been more severe. :)

Good luck. :)

Lap-Band June 14, 2001. Dr. Rumbaut, Monterrey, Mexico.
Lap-Band removed after 7 years and converted to Sleeve Gastrectomy on July 7, 2008 by Dr. Roslin.  I've had three happy healthy Lap-Band babies.... and one VSG baby.  5 years out from revision to VSG.  Gained 55 pounds in past 5 months, now considering DS. :(
