Passed my lowest band weight

For a little over a week, I have been bouncing between 218 and 220. It's been frustrating, but I know that stalls happen, and it is a bad idea to weigh every day. Well, I do weigh every day, or close to it, but really only consider my weigh-ins at the doctor to be "official". Except for this one. Today I was 216. I was 257 when I got my band in 2009. The lowest I ever saw with it was 218. (And I don't give the band credit for about 20 of those since I only lost them after being extremely sick during my pregnancy.) That's a difference of 39 pounds. Before my pre-op diet for the DS, I was 255. So as of today, less than 2 months after my DS, I have lost 39 lbs, the same as I did the whole time I had the band (3.5 years) and am officially a lower weight than I ever got to with the band. This DS is working, even when I feel like it's not!
