Just passed my 3 yr surgiversary
My 3 year surgiversary was a few weeks ago so I just wanted to share a few pictures of my DS success. I started out 364lbs the day of surgery, and I'm now at 164, so a 200lb loss. I have felt absolutely great and have done so many new things that I couldn't do pre-op. I can finally eat a comfortable size meal with no ill effects, so that has been a huge success to me. I've also fit on amusement park rides, in any chair I want, airplane seats, rode a bicycle, been in 2 5k races with my 3rd and 4th coming up in the next few months, and met the man of my dreams whom I plan on marrying next year :) I owe my life to this DS. It is an amazing surgery and I would not ever trade it for the world. My two boys are so happy to have a fun, energetic mom! :)
Me just a few weeks post-op, and then again a few months ago before going out with the girls one night. :)
This one is my last 5k, which was a super fun Color Me Rad race! Excuse my pose, ha!!
And the last is of me and my future hubby :)
