Just curious what  others monthly weight loss looked like.

I meant monthly "weight" loss.

I am averaging around 17.12 pounds a month, 4.28 pounds a week. 60 pounds in 3.5 months. That is if I am averaging it out. I lost most of that in the first month and a half. It slowed down after that.

You are doing fine.

The first 2 months, I lost 25 lbs a month.  Then it was around 10 lbs per month for a couple months.  Then it dropped to 5 lbs a month, with weeks of no weight loss (stalls).  It slows down a lot as your calories reach the level that can support your current weight.

I'm probably going to have to start exercising every day to get the last 25 lbs off.

Be careful you don't compare yourself to someone else's numbers.  The more you have to lose, the more you WILL lose.  If you must compare (and I would recommend against that), look at percentages lost.

I totally agree.  I watched people speeding past me in weight loss, and I would wonder WTF????  It was just too frustrating.

The heavier you are when you start, the faster it comes off.

The younger you are when you have surgery, the faster it tends to come off.

Men tend to lose more and faster than women.

If you exercise, you tend to lose weight faster.

Everyone is different.  There are too many variables.  Looking at percentage of weight lost verses total lbs lost is a much better measurement of how it is going.

I lost 25 pounds in the first month and then about 10 pounds a month for the next 8 months and then it dropped to about 7 pounds a month on average but I did lose in steps so 7 pounds in a week then stay the same for a week, then lose 2 pounds a week for the next two...  I started at 345 so we are close in starting weight but age and height and body frame and....
