Full week of Liquids a week before surgery..... Vitamins??

I am on full liquids the entire week before my surgery.... did any of you start your vitamins the week before surgery?? Sorry so many questions but i want to do EVERYTHING right this time :)

I never had the full week of liquids requirement, so I would think you could continue your vitamins.  Every surgeon has different requirements.  I would also think that the vitamins would be very important to take at this stage.

Hi Fullllhousemom.... thank you for always giving great advice! I haven't started my vitamins yet but I have heard of some vets that started their vitamin regiment the week before surgery. I wanted to get some advice on if most did this! :)

I did a lot of research and set up a meeting on Tuesday with Dr. Hodges and she is actually the one doing mine.  She is very personable and showed me everything that is going to be done.  She is the one that does 90% of the DS's in their office and most of the sleeve to DS revisions in their office. I do completely trust her. Much more then Barker at this point.  

I had never heard of offices doing a week liguids before surgery either but she said it's really to shrink the liver and make it as easy as possible to see once they get in there and fill us with gas lol  Surgery is a little over a week away :) Getting excitedly nervous!

The only vitamins I've ever had to stop before a surgery was vitamin E. I took vitamins in prep for my DS and if they'd had gotten my D3 back sooner, I would have taken the higher dose.
