7+ years out and NOW I have TERRIBLE gas!

Probiotics...and...step away from the carbs...any carbs.  Simple sugars will do it, too, and I imagine you had to attend a few cake-tastings with a wedding being planned...unless you hired a taster!

Seriously, though, it's probably just nerves.  If it's not solved soon, it might be worth a trip to the surgeon's or GI doctor to find out what's going on.

Stepping away from carbs completely is just not a lifestyle I can do permanently.  I can for a few days -- as I did, but not long term.  And as I stated -- it occurs if I even drink water and sometimes I am bloated upon waking.  I'm sure there's a bacterial overgrowth .... but yeah, I may have to get to my doc for a round of Flagyl.  Ugh.  Gonna try upping the probiotics and see if that helps.

Who knew nerves would throw me out of whack like this?!  LOL  Oh joy.

If you're bloated first thing then it probably isn't diet related.  You want to get probiotics before, during and after flagyl though as they should help - even Greek yogurt if you're OK with lactose (although fermented stuff is pretty gentle for most).

I've been having days at a time where my guts were literally howling.  I was having so much gas, and rumblings so loud, that I didn't want to leave the house.  I was starting to worry that my old nemesis (bowel obstruction) might be making a comeback.   I had been reading about probiotics, so I decided to give it a try.  I switched to Activia Greek yogurt, which tasted much better than my usual yogurt.  Starting the next day, there has been blissful silence in my tummy.  Maybe coincidence, maybe not.  But since I like the yogurt, I will stick with it.
