Big fat FAILURE!
The amount of weight is not the issue. It's about the percentage of your excess weight that you've lost. I think I saw this somewhere on this board or on dsfacts.com:
To figure out if you are on track to lose all your excess weight, you should have lost:
25% of your excess weight in 2 months
50% of your excess weight in 6 months
80% of your excess weight in one year
To determine how much excess weight you have to lose, take your surgery weight and subtract what your weight should be based on a 25 BMI. I made a table to show what that means in pounds, depending on how much excess weight you have to lose:
Judging by your beginning BMI (39.1) it seems like you have about 100 pounds to lose (maybe less). If that's the case, you are way ahead of the game!!
Hope this helps!

I am three months out and started at a BMI of 47 and have only lost 58 pounds. I would say you are doing good. I never even thought that I might possibly not be losing fast enough. I am so shocked to have lost 58 pounds without hardly trying. lol.
According to that chart I am behind. I think that chart is, bleh
You are doing great...YOU LOST 50 POUNDS IN THREE MONTHS!!!!
Yeah, I'm not sure about the chart, either. I saw it here on OH or on another website. But according to your stats, it looks like you already have 32% of your EWL gone, which seems to be pretty much on track. :)
Either way, we have to remind ourselves that this is not a sprint; it's a marathon. Six months from now, regardless of the number on the scale, you'll be much lighter than you are now. :)

At 32% lost in 3 months you are ahead of where I was and I have now lost 140 pounds at 12 months. I would lose a lot one week, 5-7 pounds, then I would lose 1-2 pounds the following week and then stay the same or gain 1-2 pounds the next two weeks. It's a cycle. Your body needs time to adjust. Keep your chin up and try to concentrate on the non scale victories for now. Before you know it, you will be looking back and laughing at yourself for freaking out about this.
Hang in there
