By the time I came home from the hospital, my two arms were full of ugly bruises from IVs and blood draws. I was on the blood thinner, and I bruise easily. I considered keeping my hospital bracelet on so no one would think my husband was abusing me. You definitely will get more rest at home. Hospitals are not the place for that. That's horrible re the IV. Happened to me and other people I know. Very painful. On the flip side, it'll all be a distant memory. Congratulations!!! You're on your way to a healthier and happier life!
