DS with Dr. Charlotte Hodges - Dallas

As my surgery gets closer and closer, i'm researching... Anyone had a DS  with Dr. Hodges??

Dr Kim did my DS surgery and everything went great!!!  Highly recommend Dr Kim!!!

Never heard of Dr. Hodges.  Does she work under Dr. Barker?  I would definitely be asking some questions.  Since Dr. Stewart is no longer with us, I would talk with Dr. Ayoola, who was working with him.

With no responses about Hodges, and a couple of suggestions about the dr who worked with Stewart, I hope you check out Dr. Ayoolah.  And what about expanding your questions to the other board?  The more info the better......

Thats what im' doing! I sure don't want a doctor who is not experienced in revisions :( having two babies at home sure makes a difference in my choices!

What are you revising from?   Run don't walk away!  Dr Barker is not known for doing great with revisions.

Dr Provost is in Denton.  At this point in time in the DFW area, if you want the DS, he is the one to go to.  I do not know Dr Stewarts associate other than he was in my surgery.  He is still new to this surgery.  If you are going as a revision from something else, check out Dr Provost.

Dr. Barker was actually trained by Dr. Stuart for about a year three years ago and has done these procedures since then.  I called today and asked tons of questions.  I am going to call Dr. Provost and see what my options would be there too.  Surgery date is getting closer and closer.

forgot to say..... i'm revising from the sleeve to the DS... which is an easier procedure then the others because half of the DS has already been done when i got the sleeve thankfully.

I didn't know Dr. Provost was doing the DS.  When did he start?

I am scheduled for Gastric Bypass surgery with Dr Provost on Monday December 16,2013, but I really really wanted to Duodenal Switch but was told Dr Ayoola was not in my network. Now I got a phone call that he is in network with United Healthcare so I'm thinking of canceling with Provost to go with Ayoola :( confused
