Ice cream

3 months is too early to experiment with high sugar/high carb foods. I was instructed to try to get the majority of my weight off ASAP while the "weight loss window" was open. The body figures out ways to hold on to the lbs when it thinks it is starving. I never cheated the first 8 months, reaching my goal, losing 135 lbs. Since reaching goal I have been trying all kinds of foods to maintain my weight, not wanting to lose any more. Ice cream is my best go to food, for this and helps with my calcium intake. I can eat 2 C  at a time easily, because the cold masks the full feeling in my D.S. stomach. Having it every night sure did stop my weight loss abruptly. Ice cold Dymatize Elite vanilla protein shakes with heavy whipping cream and extra SF sweetener are about as close to the taste of vanilla ice cream as you can get, better for you with 50g protein with 2 scoops in 16 oz water, and 1/2 c cream. No carbs in cream. Add" imitation vanilla butter nut flavor" by McCormick for a true ice cream flavor. I had these types of shakes 3 times a day for max weight loss, while satisfying my ice cream craving. ;-)

Sounds delish, Sandra!

Thing is, i wasn't even craving ice cream, in particular.  I think I had had an unsatisfying dinner, and was just looking for something sweet.  And, heck, it was Friday night!
