Hospital this afternoon for one year check up and blood draw so no vites today.  I'm guessing the afternoon and evening stuff as I probably won't get back home 'til late and didn't want to miss posting.  I have my Kindle with me as I usually wait hours to see the consultant - kinda makes the appointment time feel a little pointless!! ;-)

I just saw and held the Kindle Fire for the first time this week. Really liked it. Good luck with your tests and consult. I go next week for my blood draw. This will be for my 6th surgiversary appointment in August.

My 6-month check-up went great!  Doc is thrilled with my progress & he is happy with my labs.  Just got to get my Vit K down & I should have pretty solid labs for now.  I had a really nice walk at lunch today.  It is so nice to be outside in the low 80's & no humidity.  Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

Excellent!  Did he mention that the K1 could be a lab error? You rarely, if ever, see K1 that high even with folks supplementing like we do.

Wish I could have made it to dinner at your house!

In term of my labs, I haven't heard from the hematologist yet, but for insurance to cover it needs to meet the Medicare guidelines

lol  It turned out pretty well. I let the pork cook on 230 degrees for about 5 1/2 hours.

What are Medicare guidelines for infusions? You'd think with our malabsorption they would count infusions as preventative.

Hello everyone. I finally got my protein/vitamin order in yesterday except calcium and B-55 that are on backorder. And I got my Syntax sample package today. Yay!

Trying to work on more protein through food. I've been too busy. Need to slow down. If I can stay home I can do better but when I'm out I dont want to eat unless I know my carb count (since I'm in wt. loss mode). So I don't eat.
