Went out Dancing!

Well, I went to Cowboys, it has been 8 years! I line danced and.....GOT hit on by a hot guy. He kept coming over asking me to dance and talking to me. I was like...this guy cannot be possibly be hitting on me but he was. LOL. I guess this old lady still has it. Line dancing about wore me out but I am just happy I went out and did something. I have been so secluded for the last few years.

Yay for you- so happy you had a wonderful time. Isn't it a great feeling being able to do things we couldn't do just a few short months ago. My DH and I had a party at our home tonight in the backyard- about 35 people just hanging out - eating, visiting etc. But since it was at my home it required a lot of work on our part- things I couldn't possibly have done prior to surgery because my back and legs would hurt so bad. Cooking and cleaning and organizing and gardening so everything would look nice- I just could not have done it. The fact that you could get out and line dance was awesome!!! (not to mention a hot guy hitting on you- icing on the cake so to speak!!!)

Did you try drinking? How did that go? I've been able to sip slowly on beer without any major problems. I've also had weak screwdrivers successfully.

Nah, I am to afraid to try it. I will try it at home first to see how it makes my bowels react. I wanted to though. I have not had a butter shot in a long time!

I love that I can go out dancing and stay on the floor for several songs without looking like I just stepped out of the shower with sweat pouring down my face.  Bless the DS and good for you for getting out there again.
