I got my approval from BC/BS today!!! (I got approval less than one month after my initial consultation with Dr. Keshishian.) While playing the waiting game, I vented my frustration here a couple times... (thanks for listening!!)

My surgery date is either 7/31 or 8/6. I'm just waiting for a call back from Dr. K's office for confirmation.

I am so excited! I've done all my labs, my EKG, and my chest x-ray. And I'm already pretty prepared for post-op: I have enough protein powder to get me through the first month and enough chewable vitamins to get me through the first 3 months.

I will be keeping you guys posted and I'm sure I will come here often with questions. I can't wait to begin this journey!
