Bowel issue

I'm Becky (lol) and this is what I take:

Walmart brand Calcium Citrate 2 pills (one dose) 630 mgs around 6-8 doses a day.  With each of those doses I also take Magnesium Citrate, OTC potassium and I spread out my D3 among those doses usually taking 3-4 doses of that.

Got the calculator out to figure out what I am taking:  3780-5040.  I think 1200 is woefully inadequate.

My dexascans and labs look great.  I use my smart phone alarm system to remind me to take my doses 90 minutes apart.

If I get sick or just lazy and don't take my calcium (rarely ever happens) I get diarrhea.  Since I take so much Calcium I have to make sure I get  enough fat to balance my system out so I don't get constipated from the Calcium.  If I do get constipated a dose or two of Magnesium OXIDE caps clears that right up.  If I get loose stools I cut back the fat (or carbs if I am eating them).

I also take Vit K1 and K2 from VitaLady twice a day with my big batches.

Hope this helps.

~Becky

Why do you take mag citrate instead of mag Ox since mag Ox helps with constipation? Wouldn't it be simpler to take mag Ox all the time?

And if your taking so calcium so many times a day, when do you take your iron since your not supposed to take those together?
