I have met Dr. Ayoola.  He is a very nice man.  He assisted Dr. Stewart on my niece's DS 6 weeks ago.  She is doing great.  Not many doctors have the chance to work side by side with such a skilled doctor as Dr. Stewart was.  I would either make an appointment to met with Dr. Ayoola or at least a phone appt.  I'm sure the office can/will give you all his information on past residences & medical schools.

He worked along side Dr. Stewart when I had my DS in June. Dr. Ayoola actually removed my gallbladder, did a liver biopsy and repaired a hernia. I didn't know Dr. Stewart was going to have another surgeon do those things but I'm doing just fine. I never actually met Dr. Ayoola himself but apparently he met me.

Rest assured, he was guided and mentored by a or "THE", in my opinion, number one surgeon!  Seeing as how Dr Stewart went to great efforts to be the best for his patients, I would say Dr Ayoola is more than likely qualified to very high standards.  I can't see a doctor as good as Dr Stewart allowing another doctor to work with him on his patients unless he was really good.  I would ask how many surgeries he assisted with.  That may give you an idea of Dr Stewarts trust in his skills.  It's likely he will be as skilled as Dr Stewart.

I know this is scary, I'm so blessed to have had surgery with him 3 months ago yesterday.  I am still grieving for his family, staff, and we patients.  He was a true blessing.  Reading his Obit, it seemed as though he gave of himself as a Christian as well as a surgeon.  Truly a good man.

I also feel for Dr Ayoola, for he has some great shoes to fill.

He was in my surgery nearly a year ago now.  Seemed nice.  Have no clue about his skills.

I am so glad that Dr. Stewart trained Dr. Ayoola and had such a good, long-term staff.

I'm sure that the staff will take great care of you, BrendaLou.  And you are going to do great.  You got to have surgery with one of the best, so take a deep breath.  It will be ok.

Hello Brenda,

I am not per say a patient of Dr. Ayoola. However I haven't been on this site in about a month. Preparing for my DS with Dr. Stewart for July 1, 2013. When I just saw the devastating news of his untimely passing. Which deeply saddens me. My thoughts and prayers truly go out to his family, friends, staff, and patients. Who came in contact with a very talented physician such as Dr. Stewart. He will be greatly missed. But I was also able to meet Dr. Ayoola. And he was great. Now I don't know him personally. But I will provide a link to Dr. Stewart's website. And if you go to "About Us" you will see a section on Dr. Ayoola. That could possibly provide a little insite on him. Hope that helps.
